In the recent past, it has been observed that people have shown poor co-ordination and teamwork whenever a building has been set ablaze or a fire has broken out somewhere. CSI has learnt that people give in to fear when such an event takes place and panic takes over them. Their instinctive nature fails to get the better of the situation.. As soon as the news that fire has been broken out is spread, people spring into action and move and rush in a haphazard and disorganized manner which in turn jeopardizes their lives along with lives of others. In such an event, first and foremost what one must not do is panic. Besides that one must follow the instructions of the supervisor who has been trained to handle such situations with finesse. A chaotic movement of masses is both impeding and obstructing to the safety plan laid out by the fire fighting department. The causes of an outbreak of fire can be manifold namely faulty-wiring, short-circuit et al, but has only one and sole solution. Safety measures should be put in place and people should be trained to handle fire-fighting equipments in depth. Vigilance, watchfulness and the degree of preparedness can salvage one’s life and probably of many others in a case of fire outbreak
